Opportunity…Education…Freedom

Project for Freedom trains people with disabilities and provides a talent pool of professionals to fill positions within the regional business community by establishing public-private partnerships with employers, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Since 1998, Project for Freedom has trained more than ---individuals with disabilities for employment in the information technology field. The program promotes a strong work ethic, technical proficiency and professionalism in the students.

Mission

The mission of Pittsburgh Disability Employment Project for Freedom is to provide technology skills training and assist in gaining competitive employment opportunities for qualified individuals with disabilities.
